Here are some pictures of the first wedding I’ve ever shot!  I was invited to be a second photographer by my friend, Leslie.  We had a great time, worked hard and got to be away from our kids on a Friday night!  Woo Hoo!

All these gorgeous models are related to me!  Kenzie, Quincie, Lexy Mae, Courtney, Ashley and Little Sara all drove down to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving 2011!  I must say this shoot was a blast with a fun bunch of goofy girls.  Did I mention all but one is BOY CRAZY! These girls remind me of my sisters; they share such a strong bond and truly love each other.

Holiday pictures of another very fun young family.  Afton, the oldest of the girls is always camera ready and so adorable…..Mommy must practice on her a lot! 

Momma Sabrina suggested this outdoor location in the beautiful Calico Basin.  It really is a treasure in Las Vegas, which every family photographer must know about.  We must have seen at least 11 other families taking holiday portraits when we were there!  Wowzer!

Yippee, my favorite time of year is finally here.  During December everyone wants a family portrait to share with loved ones.  A picture that represents another year in the journey of life.   

 

Here is a beautiful young family of three who are also my good friends. I have learned so much from Miss Collette over the years, her wisdom stretches way beyond her age. I am ever grateful for our friendship Collette.

To me, life is about all of the moments in a day.  I’m sharing a few of my favorite pictures from this session – they are not all beautiful, but real!   This is the beauty in a day as I see it. Not the posed family portrait, but the moment where people are laughing and having fun with each other.

Happy Holidays 2011!  A fun ‘mini shoot’ in Las Vegas.   This is my baby sister and her Asian persuasion of a boyfriend.  Seriously – the nicest two people ever…. and we couldn’t exclude Cosmo, the most beloved dog.  Mr. M is moving on up in life (in his career), so this photo shoot commenced a new chapter for the love birds.  Congratulations you two!

This is my very dear friend, Denise, and her children. It was a very very windy day in Las Vegas, but we found shelter long enough to take a few family portraits for holiday cards. I'm discovering that tweens are a lot like babies, and I need to work very quickly!

Miss Fancy Pants \ Las Vegas Children Photographer

Because I love taking maternity and children portraits, I took my daughter, Fancy Pants aka Isabelle, to my studio for her very own photo shoot.  She loved all of the attention directed at her and only her!  She asked if ‘the studio’ was my office and if she could have a ‘tiny’ office just like mine!  ‘Of course’, I said…………… she replied ‘You’re my BESSSSSST friend Mommy!’

Baby Ella / Las Vegas Family Photography

I’m an Auntie, again!  Baby Ella is here and she arrived with beauty and the scent of sweet lavender (or her mom uses lavender fabric softener – same thing).  I had the privilege of snuggling her for many days.  It was just long enough to fantasize of kidnapping her.  I’m still working on a plan that will keep the families at ease.  I’ll keep you posted. 

While I was visiting my sister in Reno, I did find a few moments to capture the true essence of a newborn baby girl.  I love her.
